Statement of Issue:
On November 17, 2017, the City Council approved the execution of a Cooperative Agreement with the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) for a traffic signal coordination project along Magnolia Street. The expiration date on the agreement is June 30, 2023. OCTA has continuing monitoring efforts to complete as part of the project. Amendment No. 1 will extend the term of the agreement until June 30, 2025 to allow for completion of these efforts at no additional cost to the City.
Financial Impact:
No further appropriations are requested with this action. With the approval of the Cooperative Agreement on November 17, 2017, the City Council originally appropriated $199,789 to Air Quality Management District (AQMD) fund account 20190013.82700 for the City's share of the project costs. These costs have since been revised to $146,401 and transferred to Prop 42 fund account 21990429.82700.
