Specifications for the Half Round Drainage Inlet Structures, CC-1733, have been prepared.
Funding Source:
Funds for the project are available in the Drainage Fund account 21188007.82500.
Recommended Action:

Motion to approve that the FY 22/23 Half Round Grate Project, CC-1733 is in general conformance with the previously approved Capital Improvement Program.

Analysis:
The Half Round Drainage Inlet Structures Project aims to enhance the quality of water runoff by reducing the amount of trash and debris that accumulates in the existing half round drainage structures and ends up in the ocean. To achieve this, new metal grates, concrete, and asphalt will be added to these structures. Currently, there are 384 locations in the City where these improvements are needed, seventy locations have been completed to date.
The Engineer’s Estimate for this project is $300,000.
