Subject:
title
Adopt Resolution No. 2024-11 Identifying a list of projects funded by SB 1: The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017 in Fiscal Year 2024/25
body

Statement of Issue:
In order to receive State of California SB 1 funding, the City is required to annually adopt a resolution that identifies City projects that will utilize these funds.

Financial Impact:
Adoption of Resolution No. 2024-11 is a prerequisite for receipt of an estimated $5,079,178 of SB 1 funding from the State, which will be deposited in RMRA Fund 1247. Funds will be used toward eligible street and transportation projects identified in this Resolution.

Recommended Action:
recommendation
Adopt Resolution No. 2024-11, "A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach Adopting a List of Projects for Fiscal Year 2024/25 Funded by SB 1: The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017."
end

Alternative Action(s):

Based on the City of Huntington Beach's population, it is estimated the City will receive $5,079,178 in FY 2024/25 for use on eligible street and transportation projects. A prerequisite to receiving the funds is the submittal of a City Council resolution to identify proposed projects that will utilize this funding. The proposed Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget for FY 202...
