Analysis:

The Bluff Top Park Trail Improvements Project will improve the existing trail at Bluff Top Park from 11th Street to just beyond the northernmost parking lot located between Seapoint and Goldenwest. The improvements include widening the existing 12ft. wide trail to 18ft., installing new sidewalk adjacent to the curb on Pacific Coast Highway, and improving the landscaping and irrigation.

These improvements will enhance the trail and public recreational opportunities for bicyclists and pedestrians through additional trail capacity. Additionally, the improvements provide the public, including people who require assistive devices such as wheelchairs and strollers, access to coastal resources and recreation amenities. The engineer’s estimate is $1,400,000.
