Analysis:

The Rodgers Senior Center redevelopment project will construct a new Park on the former Senior Center Property.  As part of the new park development, the existing outreach building at this property will remain and the building interior and the exterior roof will be renovated and repaired. The recreation building will be demolished and the space will be converted partially to an open space and parking lot. In addition this project will provide improved ADA access, walkways and open turf within the newly developed Park parcel.

The project was presented to the City Council on July 20, 2020.  At that time the City Council approved the conceptual design of the project, and directed staff to complete the design and bid out the project for construction.
