Statement of Issue:
Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian (HOAG) and the City wish to continue the long-standing partnership between the two entities by approving a new five-year MOU for services and programs at the Senior Center in Central Park to enhance the quality of life for Huntington Beach residents.

Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to the General Fund. Per the terms of the MOU, HOAG will provide an annual donation of $100,000 for sponsorship of the HOAG Health and Wellness Pavilion for five consecutive years, for a total donation of $500,000. Upon receipt of the annual donation, funds will be appropriated to Donation Fund 103, account 10345507.

Recommended Action:

A) Approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the "Memorandum of Understanding and License to Use Certain Space Between the City of Huntington Beach and Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian;" and,

B) Accept and authorize the appropriation of the annual donation of $100,000 from HOAG as stipulated in the Memorandum of Understanding for five consecutive years.

Do not approve the Memorandum of Understanding with Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian and direct staff accordingly.
