Statement of Issue:
Adoption of a resolution is required for the submittal of a project grant application to the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) for funding under the Comprehensive Transportation Funding Program (CTFP). The subject grant application is for a traffic signal synchronization project along Bolsa Chica Street.
Financial Impact:
No funding is required for this action. If the project team is successful in receiving this grant from OCTA, the City will be responsible for up to $130,800 as our share of the local matching funds. A separate City Council action will be required at that time with a request for allocation of matching funds from the City's Air Quality Management District Fund.
