Statement of Issue:
Transmitted for City Council's consideration is a request to enter into a Professional Services Contract with CSG Consultants, Inc. to provide professional building inspection services.
Financial Impact:
The CSG Consultants' contract is a three (3) year contract. Year one, FY18/19 - $262,500 will be funded by a combination of $150,000 from the FY18/19 Community Development approved budget, account 10060401.69365 and projected salary savings of $112,500, account 10060501.51110. Year two, FY19/20 - $150,000 will be funded from FY19/20 Community Development proposed budget. Year three, FY20/21 - $150,000 will be funded from the FY20/21 proposed budget

A) Approve the increase in the Community Development Department's professional services listing authority by $112,500 for Building Staffing Services to ensure compliance with Administrative Regulation Number 228, Section 7.1; and,
B) Approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a Three (3) Year "Professional Services Contract between the City of Huntington Beach and CSG Consultants, Inc. for Building Staffing Services" in the amount of Five Hundred, Sixty Two Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($562,500), as prepared and approved by the City Attorney.
