Statement of Issue:
The Parking and Camping Operations Supervisor classification is assigned to the Community and Library Services Department at the City and is represented by the Management Employees' Organization (MEO). Modifications to the class specifications are recommended in accordance with Personnel Rule 12 regarding amendments to the City's Classification Plan.

Analysis:
Modifications to the Parking and Camping Operations Supervisor job class specification are recommended to: 1) update the "Job Summary" section; 2) update the "Supervision Received and Exercised" section; 3) add language to the "Essential Duties" section to reflect added parking enforcement duties; 4) add language to the "Knowledge of and Ability to" sections. These requested modifications are intended to update the classification to reflect the current job requirements and present hiring standards. The current pay grade remains the same per the MEO MOU.
The Community and Library Services Department collaborated with Human Resources on the recommended changes, and MEO has reviewed the proposed changes.
