Statement of Issue:
Approximately 76 parkway and median trees must be removed and replaced to facilitate hardscape and drainage improvements as part of the Bolsa Avenue arterial rehabilitation project from Bolsa Chica Street to Goldenwest Street. The removals are necessary to address infrastructure damage caused by tree roots and to ensure proper drainage and improve paths of travel for pedestrians.

Financial Impact:
The total project cost is estimated at $121,000 and will be included in the Public Works Department's Capital Improvement Program budget for the Bolsa Avenue Arterial Rehabilitation project.
