The City Council is asked to approve the appointment of Jeanne Paris to the City Celebration Committee to fill a current vacancy, as recommended by City Council Liaisons McKeon and Strickland.

Analysis:
The City Celebration Committee is a nine-member resident committee that aids in the development of the City's Annual Celebration Calendar. The Committee is tasked with making recommendations to the City Council Liaisons on future celebratory themes and acknowledgements. The City Celebration Committee is also tasked with making recommendations to City staff on potential celebration content.

The City Celebration Committee was established by the City Council at the December 19, 2023, City Council meeting. The City advertised vacancies for this committee on the City's website, social media, and at the Civic Center. Of those applications received, City Celebration Committee City Council Liaisons Casey McKeon and Tony Strickland recommend Jeanne Paris to fill the vacant position.
