Statement of Issue:

Present the proposed Fiscal Year 2026/27 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and related projects.

 

Financial Impact:

The proposed Fiscal Year 2026/27 CIP budget totals $45,929,641 and includes 49 projects funded through multiple funding sources.  The attached CIP document provides detailed information on each project and its associated budget.

Motion to recommend that the City Council the adopt the Fiscal Year 2026/27 CIP.

Approve or modify specific projects and provide recommendations at a subsequent meeting.

 

Analysis:

The proposed Fiscal Year 2026/27 CIP has been developed by staff based on currently available funding sources.  The plan includes approximately $45,929,641 in new appropriations for 49 proposed projects in the upcoming fiscal year.

 

The CIP will be presented to the City Council as part of the Proposed Budget presentation in May.   The first opportunity for adoption of the budget is anticipated at the first City Council meeting in June, with the possibility of continuation to a second meeting in June, if necessary.
