Description:
The City Attorney’s Office will provide Brown Act training for members of the Finance Commission, including an overview of open meeting requirements, permissible communications, and the role and limitations of advisory bodies under California law.
In addition, the City Attorney’s Office will provide general legal guidance on selected topics raised by Finance Commissioners. Questions have been submitted in advance and are included in the meeting materials for reference.
