Statement of Issue:
On August 8, 2024, bids were publicly opened for the Retaining Wall Rehabilitation Project. Staff is requesting City Council to award the construction contract to TTS Engineering Inc, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Financial Impact:
Total cost for the project is $237,913 with the breakdown as follows:

This project was not included within the City's Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget. However, funding has been identified within the current fiscal year budget in the following accounts and no additional appropriations are required:

Recommended Action:

A) Accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid submitted by TTS Engineering in the amount of $174,624; and,

B) Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a construction contract in a form approved by the City Attorney; and,

C) Authorize the Director of Public Works to execute change orders not to exceed a total of 15 percent of the contract construction costs, or $26,194.
