Statement of Issue:
On September 9, 2020, the City Council approved the execution of a Cooperative Agreement with the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) for a traffic signal coordination project along Talbert Avenue/MacArthur Boulevard. The agreement is currently set to expire on June 30, 2025. As the project has not yet been completed, Amendment No. 1 proposes to extend the agreement's term by one year, through June 30, 2026.
Financial Impact:
With the approval of the Cooperative Agreement on September 9, 2020, the City Council appropriated $4,000 from the Air Quality Management District (AQMD) fund (account 20185201.69365) for the City's share of the project costs. No further appropriation is requested for this action.
