Statement of Issue:
Resolution No. 2025-49 will recite the facts of the Special Municipal Election held in Huntington Beach on the 10th day of June 2025, declaring the results thereof and such other matters as provided by provisions of the City Charter and the Elections Code of the State of California.

Financial Impact:
None. An estimated $1,300,000 in General Fund appropriations for Fiscal Year 2024/25 will be carried forward to the Elections account (Business Unit 100100201.69505 - Contract Services) to cover the anticipated cost of the Special Election. The City is currently awaiting the invoice from the County Registrar of Voters.
