Analysis:
Following a facility assessment of the fifteen storm water pump stations, the Utilities Division prioritized the roof replacements of the Banning, Hamilton, Newland, Marilyn, Scenario, and Yorktown stations. These roofs were last replaced in the 1990s and have reached the end of their useful life, with some beginning to leak. Protection of the internal pumps and equipment is critical to providing flood protection. A modern membrane-style roofing system with a 30-year life is proposed to be installed at these stations. This project also replaces roof hatches and fascia boards that have deteriorated due to weather and termite damage.
