STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
On October 11, 2022, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the Housing Element Update and implementation programs and recommended approval to the City Council. The City Council held a study session on the Housing Element on November 1, 2022. The study session included a presentation on the Housing Element Update and implementation actions as reviewed by the Planning Commission in addition to options to revise the Housing Element to address concerns raised by residents primarily from the Edwards Hill and Seagate neighborhoods, which are located in proximity to identified Housing Element RHNA sites.
