Statement of Issue:
Plans and Specifications for the Parking Lot have been finalized.
Funding Source:
Total funds in the amount of $1,475,000 in the infrastructure fund have been funded for this project.
Recommended Action:

Motion to approve that the Junior Lifeguard and RV Parking Lot Rehabilitation, CC- 1648, is in general conformance with the previously approved CIP.

Analysis:
The parking lot is bounded by Pacific Coast Highway to the north, between First Street and Huntington Street. The project consists primarily of repaving the existing parking lot including cold milling of the existing pavement, limited removal and installation of concrete sidewalk, replacing the forty-six existing RV pedestals, adding four new pedestals, replacing the existing electrical cabinets, and installing traffic striping and signage. The parking lot will be shut down from February 7th to March 21st for the construction period. The Engineer’s Estimate for this project is $950,000.
