Analysis:

This project proposes to update and augment the existing system of fences and block walls that enclose the Peck and Springdale Reservoirs Site.  The project will also install conduits for a future electronic security system at this site.  The electronic security system is proposed to be constructed one year after the installation of the conduits.  The Peck and Springdale Reservoir sites have two semi above ground reservoirs and three potable water wells.  It is a critical site in providing the City with potable water.  The site is unmanned, however City Water Production Staff visit the site on a daily basis.  This project and the subsequent project will serve to safeguard this critical site.
