Statement of Issue:
Plans and Specifications for the Zone 3 Residential Overlay Project, CC-1618, have been finalized.
Funding Source:
Total funds in the amount of $3,100,000 have been budgeted for the project. This includes $2,350,000 budgeted in the Gas Tax Fund and $500,000 in the Measure M Fund. In addition, funds of $100,000 are budgeted in the Sewer Fund and $150,000 is budgeted in the Water Fund. .

Motion to approve that the Zone 3 Residential Overlay Project, CC- 1618, is in general conformance with the previously approved CIP.

Analysis:
This project will rehabilitate approximately 121 of the worst residential street segments in Maintenance Zone 3. Maintenance Zone 3 is located in the central-east area of the City and generally includes streets north of Indianapolis Ave., east of Newland St., west of Bushard St., and south of Garfield Ave. Work will include limited localized pavement repairs, crack sealing, tapered cold milling, striping, and new asphalt overlay. The Engineer’s Estimate for this project is $2,900,000.
