Statement of Issue:
In order to receive State of California SB 1 funding, the City is required to identify the projects that will utilize this funding, via the adoption of a Resolution.
Financial Impact:
Adoption of the Resolution is a pre-requisite for receipt of an estimated $3,848,402 in SB 1 funding from the State, which will be deposited in the FY 2020/21 RMRA Fund 1247.

Analysis:
Senate Bill 1 (SB 1) the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017 was passed by the Legislature and signed into law by the Governor in April 2017 in order to address the significant multi-modal transportation funding shortfalls statewide. Based on the City's population, it is estimated that the City will receive $3,848,402 in FY 2020/21 for the use on applicable street and transportation projects. A pre-requisite to the city receiving these funds is the submittal of a resolution to identify the proposed projects that will utilize this funding. The proposed Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget for FY 2020/21 identifies the use of these funds, in addition to other local funds, for the Arterial Rehabilitation Project. The streets proposed to be fully rehabilitated include:
